World Children’s Day – 20th November 2025

Every child deserves a chance to dream, to grow, and to thrive.
On this World Children’s Day 🌍, the IMVACS Consortium commemorates this meaningful day with the video below and renews its promise, dedication, and commitment to ensuring a brighter, healthier future for children in Mali and Burkina Faso.

Malaria remains a major health challenge for children in sub-Saharan Africa, with those under five being the most vulnerable.

Through a novel integrated delivery strategy that combines the R21/Matrix-M malaria vaccine with Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) among children aged 5–36 months in areas of highly seasonal malaria transmission, the IMVACS project aims to reduce the burden of this life-threatening disease and provide an effective preventive measure to protect the children who need it most.

Every step we take in the fight against malaria is a step toward a world where children can dream without limits, learn without barriers, and grow without fear 🌱.
